Create a landing page

To create a landing page, you must have at least two published titles on your account — at least two standalone titles, or two episodic titles/series (or one standalone title and one series). Note: Multiple seasons within the same series doesn't on its own meet the requirement.

For each account with at least two published titles, you can create one landing page to help customers find all of the videos you offer. Your landing page includes a custom web page address (or URL) that you can create and share on social media, in your email campaigns, on your website, and other marketing channels.

Currently, the custom URL is the only way to access your landing page. It’s not linked from your published title’s detail page nor appears in search.

Create a landing page

  1. On Landing Page, click the toggle control so that it shows Feature enabled. To enable, your account must have at least two published titles.
  2. Under Profile, in the Partner name box, enter the name as you want it to appear to customers. The name doesn’t have to match the Company Name that was used to sign up for your Prime Video Direct account. The name you enter appears on top of a banner graphic, which we or you provide, at the top of your page. If you upload a logo image, we'll use the logo instead of the text you enter in Partner name.
  3. In the Custom URL box, enter the last part of the custom URL following /v/. Your URL and name shouldn’t contain any trademarks that you don’t own, contain anything that could be confusing or misleading to customers, or violates our Content Policy Guidelines.

The custom URL automatically redirects customers to the correct site for their location or service (for example, amazon.com/video in the United States, amazon.co.jp in Japan, or PrimeVideo.com in France). You don’t necessarily need to share all of the marketplace-specific URLs with your customers. Any URL you share works in any location worldwide.

  4. Under Branding, you optionally can upload a logo and backgrounds for web or mobile web to use at the top of your landing page. If you don't add a background image, we'll provide a default graphic. If you upload a logo, we'll place that on top of the background graphic instead of your partner name from step 2.
  5. Click Save.
  6. If any issues are detected with your submission, they will be shown. Please fix any errors, and then click Save. If there's an error you're unable to resolve, or you believe the error is a mistake, please contact us.
  7. When you’re ready for us to review and publish your landing page, click Submit.

Note: Make sure that the Feature disabled/Feature enabled toggle control is set to Feature enabled.

Verify landing page status

  • On Landing Page, look for the status under the title Landing Page. You might need to refresh the page to view the latest status. Your page is usually published within several minutes. However, if you've added optional branding logos or backgrounds, your submission must be reviewed and should be available in 2–4 business days.

For example: Live | View Page | Updated 06/18/2019 10:12 AM

After your page is live, we encourage you to share the URL through social media and other marketing collateral.

View landing page

To view your landing page after it’s successfully published, do one of the following:

  • On Landing Page, when the landing page status is Live, click View Page.
  • Copy one of the custom URLs and paste it into the address bar of your web browser. All of the URLs automatically redirect to the correct site for your location or service (for example, amazon.com/video in the United States, amazon.co.jp in Japan, or PrimeVideo.com in France).

Change your landing page custom URL

If you’ve already published your landing page, and you want to select a new custom URL, do the following:

  1. In the Custom URL box, enter the URL. Your URL shouldn’t contain any trademarks that you don’t own, contain anything that could be confusing or misleading to customers, or violates our Content Policy Guidelines.
  2. Click Save.
  3. If any issues are detected with your submission, they're shown. Please fix the errors, and then click Save. If there's an error you're unable to resolve, or you believe the error is a mistake, please contact us.
  4. Click Submit.

While your change is processed, your existing landing page URL (if any) remains live.

Note: When your new custom URL goes live, your previous URL is disabled and it will not redirect to the new one. Anyone who uses the old URL won't reach your landing page. Your custom URL will be relinquished, which means someone else can claim the URL.

Disable your landing page

To temporarily or permanently disable your landing page, do the following:

  • On Landing Page, click the Feature enables/Feature disabled toggle control so that it shows Feature disabled, click Save, and then click Submit.

This action makes your landing page inaccessible to customers via the custom URL in several minutes and it removes your branding from the landing page. The only way to reach your landing page will be using the full, long URL.

Re-enable your landing page

  • On Landing Page, click the toggle control so that it shows Feature enabled, click Save, and then click Submit.

Your landing page is usually published within several minutes. However, if you add optional branding logos or backgrounds, your submission must be reviewed and should be available in 2–4 business days.
