Marketing guidelines

All marketing for Prime Video Direct titles is self-serve, which gives you the opportunity to connect with your audience and drive engagement for your content. If you're distributing titles on behalf of a third party, please make sure that the third party also adheres to all Prime Video Direct marketing guidelines as well.

Failure to adhere to the below guidelines and requirements will lead to the immediate removal of your content. If you have a question about whether you are correctly promoting your content, please email videodirect-support@amazon.com.

  • Don't use the Amazon Logo. We don't allow you to use the Amazon logo in any promotions for Prime Video Direct titles.
  • Only engage in digital marketing with the appropriate copy. Prime Video Direct content providers are only authorized to use the following text copy "Available on Prime Video" and only in digital media (social posts, emails, blogs, etc.).
  • No physical marketing of any kind. Printed marketing and advertisements are prohibited (e.g., billboards, stickers, pamphlets etc.).
  • Only promote titles that are approved/selected for licensing. Only titles that have already been selected for licensing may be marketed as available on Prime Video.
  • Only promote the availability of your title on Prime Video. You may only promote the availability of your title on Prime Video. Any other express or implied association between Amazon and you or your title will lead to immediate removal of your content.
  • All press releases mentioning Amazon and Prime Video must be submitted to Prime Video PR at PVD-PR@amazon.com. Please allow 10 business days for review. For more information, see Press Releases.

Your use of the Amazon brand, logos, and trademarks ("Amazon Marks") is subject to the restrictions set out in this guide, the Amazon Trademarks Guidelines, your Digital Video License Agreement, and any other terms, conditions, or policies that Amazon may issue from time to time that apply to the use of the Amazon Marks (together the "Guidelines").

Strict compliance with the Guidelines is required at all times, and any use of an Amazon Mark in violation of the Guidelines will automatically terminate any license related to your use of the Amazon Marks and may result in removal of your title, forfeiture of license fees, and termination of your account. Amazon reserves the right, exercisable at its sole discretion, to modify the Guidelines and/or the approved Amazon Marks at any time.
