A mezzanine file is a compressed master video file used to produce additional compressed video streams and downloads. We automatically prepare your file for use across all platforms and streaming qualities.

By following our Mezzanine Requirements, we provide the best possible quality for your videos.

Note: After publishing a title with an HD mezzanine file, an SD mezzanine can't be uploaded for the same title.

Change a standalone title

1. In Your Videos, select the title.
2. On the Video Assets tab, under Mezzanine file or Trailer (Optional), click Browse. You can add files from your computer or a linked Amazon S3 account.
3. Click Save.
   
4. Click Submit for review.

Note: If your upload is interrupted (including browser crashes, exiting a tab, or loss of Internet connectivity), select the same file, click Save, and the upload will resume where it left off.

Change an episode

1. In Your Videos, on the Episodic tab, under Title, click the arrow next to a episodic season entry.
2. Click the season.
3. On the Video Assets tab, under Mezzanine file, click Browse. You can add files from your computer or a linked Amazon S3 account.
4. Click Save.
5. Click Submit for review.

Note: If your upload is interrupted (including browser crashes, exiting a tab, or loss of Internet connectivity), select the same file, click Save, and the upload will resume where it left off.
